HeyTracker

Parcel tracking: tracking page, carriers, alerts, claims.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to enter parcels by hand?

No. As soon as an order is shipped in Shopify, the parcel appears with its carrier and tracking number, and HeyTracker checks with the carrier on its own: often when the parcel moves fast, rarely when it is waiting.

Which carriers are tracked?

Colissimo, Chronopost, Mondial Relay, DPD, GLS, UPS, DHL and bpost. All of them are shown the same way: nine clear statuses, never the carrier's raw jargon.

Where is the tracking page shown?

On your store's domain, for example mystore.com/apps/suivi, through the Shopify app proxy. Your customer never leaves your site: logo, colours and typography are yours, and HeyTracker only appears in small print, in the footer.

How does my customer reach their tracking?

Through a signed direct link, to put in your shipping email, or by entering their order number and email on the tracking page. Repeated failed attempts are slowed down, so that nobody can browse through the store's orders.

Do my customers receive notifications?

Not yet: notifications sent to customers (email, SMS, WhatsApp) are coming in a future version. Today, you are the one alerted, in HeyTracker, as soon as a parcel is late, goes without a scan or nears its collection deadline at a pickup point.

How do claims work?

HeyTracker spots lost parcels and those delivered beyond the carrier's guarantee. The file gathers the documents, shows the time left to claim, and the claim is written for you: you file it through the carrier's channel, then record the amount obtained. Never two files for the same parcel. Letting your customer report a damaged parcel, with a photo, from the tracking page does not exist yet: it is coming soon, as is automatic filing on the carriers' portals.

Does HeyTracker work with Heylio and HeyReturn?

Yes. When HeyTracker is activated on your Heylio account and your Shopify store is connected to it, Heylio's AI asks HeyTracker to answer “where is my order?”, by email and in the chat: the status of each parcel, the estimated delivery date, the pickup point and the link to your tracking page. It only does so for an identified customer, whose email address is the one on the order; if HeyTracker does not answer, Heylio falls back on the store's tracking. The return parcels HeyReturn sends to HeyTracker are tracked there like any other: one status, on both sides. A single login for the whole suite.
